This journal is dedicated to the publication of original papers based on research in any aspect of limnology and oceanography. Current subscribers have access to posted issues of the journal, including those for years in which an electronic subscription was not purchased. Libraries and institutions are required to submit, upon agreement, a signed copy of the site license for each campus subscription. A copy of the site license may be viewed here.

Limnology and Oceanography: Methods provides a central point for new and innovative methods in the aquatic sciences. This journal is available in electronic format only. Subscribers are required to submit a signed site license agreement with IP Range and email address with payment for each campus subscription. A copy of the site license may be viewed here.
Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin
Subscription Year 2009, Volume 18 (4 Issues)
The Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin is published quarterly in electronic format only and contains peer-reviewed articles, Letters to the Bulletin, and ASLO News (information for and about society members).
Institutional Subscription Packages
A single institutional subscription provides electronic access to all three journals, including all posted issues of all three journals, and including years in which an subscription was not purchased. Institutions may elect to also receive a print copy of Limnology and Oceanography at an additional charge, as shown below. Institutions are required to submit a signed copy of the site license (PDF format) for each campus subscription.

Individuals
Individuals may elect to become members without a journal subscription, to receive electronic access to the ASLO journals, or to receive electronic access plus a printed copy of Limnology and Oceanography. For more information, please refer to the new member application page or to the membership application and renewal forms (note: these links will take you to the ASLO Business Office web server).
When you log into the ASLO website, your subscription status is recognized automatically. If you attempt to access a locked article, you will be asked to log in. After logging in, you will be returned to the item you wished to access.
Please note: if you have just added membership with subscription, there will be a slight delay before your access to the electronic version of the journals is authorized. Subscriber records are updated to the website weekly, usually on Friday. If you have just renewed your subscription and it had not lapsed, you will have continuing access to the electronic version of the journal.
